- appreciate the behavioral styles of your colleagues,
- adjust your behavioral style to communicate more effectively, and
- people read in order to facilitate effective relationship building.
This coaching can be facilitated in one day either face-to-face or via webinar. However, it is most effective when you are given one week in between sessions to process the coaching content and put into practice your newly learned skills. That’s why we recommend a three-week coaching program with three-hours of coaching each week.
The benefit of three separate coaching sessions is it allows us to (1) incorporate homework that encourages real-world application and (2) provide follow-up coaching based on your homework experience. This is the best approach to ensure you (1) absorb the coaching content and (2) adopt new behaviors that ultimately result in improved communication skills.
