LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • We’ll provide your leadership team with insight into their own management style and help them better understand the various workplace behaviors that exist in today’s professional environment.
  • They’ll learn to easily read their employees’ workplace behaviors and, most importantly, adapt their style to manage more effectively in the areas of delegating and directing, motivating, developing others and working with their own manager.

TIMELINE
This training can be facilitated in one day. However, it is most effective when employees are given one week in between sessions to process the training content and put into practice their newly learned skills. Therefore, a three-week training program is suggested with three-hours of coaching each week.

The benefit of three separate three-hour sessions is allows us to (1) incorporate homework that encourages real-world application and (2) provide follow-up coaching based on the attendees’ homework experience. This is the best approach to ensure employees (1) absorb the training content and (2) adopt new behaviors that ultimately result in improved leadership and management skills.

PREREQUISITES
To get the most out of this training, it is recommending that your leaders attend “Communicating Effectively as a Team” prior to attending this training, although it is not absolutely necessary.
